Laetitia Sprij, mezzo soprano & Michele Guerrieri, piano 

Laetitia Sprij and Michele Guerrieri met at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague, where they both study. Currently, Laetitia is in the fourth year of the bachelor Voice Classical with Amand Hekkers and Michele is in the second year of the Piano Master with Ellen Corver. Since last academic year (2023/24) they started working together as a duo, brought together by a mutual interest in exploring a varied range of repertoire. They aim to combine repertoire from both American and different European language cultures. Before coming to The Hague, Michele obtained the Master's Degree in piano with full marks at the "G. Rossini" Conservatory of Pesaro and in 2023 he graduated with full marks at the Post-graduate Specialization School (III Level Degree) in Contemporary Piano, at the “Accademia di Musica” di Pinerolo (Turin). Prior to starting the bachelor in 2021/22, Laetitia studied History at Leiden University in combination with the program Practicum Musicae at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague. She participated in masterclasses given by among others Barbara Kozelj, Nelly Miricioiu, Noa Frenkel, Carina Vinke, Erik Slik en Ekaterina Levental. This year Laetitia and Michele are planning to perform together as much as possible in concerts, masterclasses and the ISLDC competition.
